In 2024, I participated in the Diamond Challenge, a global entrepreneurship competition for high school students hosted by the University of Delaware. As part of a three-person team, I helped develop a social innovation project aimed at improving mental health support for teens. After months of research, pitch refinement, and regional presentations, our project advanced to the global finals.
This experience strengthened my communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, and sparked a deeper interest in how innovation can be used to improve human well-being—an idea I hope to carry into the field of medicine.
